The Vitamix Ascent A2500 Blender is the blender you've been waiting for. The front of this blender features a center dial with large, clearly visible numbers around it and on/off and pulse toggle switches on either side. Above the dial, there is also a digital display which shows how long you've been blending - no need for a separate timer or for guesswork in your blending. The powerful 2.2 horsepower motor and laser-cut, hardened stainless steel blades will have you making your own nut butter at home. This model includes 3 pre-programmed settings: Smoothie, Soup, and Frozen Dessert. Simply add your ingredients, dial to the program, flip the on switch, and walk away. The Vitamix Ascent Series A2500 blender does the rest and stops automatically when it's finished. And with the NFC (Near-Field Communication) sensor, it automatically adjusts the time if you use one of the smaller 20 oz or 8 oz containers (sold separately). The included low-profile 64 oz container is BPA free, dishwasher safe, and has a clear lid so you can see what's blending from any angle. The A2500 Vitamix is available in 4 colors: black, red, slate gray, and white. It comes with a 10-year Warranty.

Program Settings

The Ascent A2500 includes three pre-programmed settings to help you take control of your busy life. Use the programs to make tasty Smoothies, Hot Soup, and Frozen Desserts. The programs enable you to flip the switch and walk away. The blender does the rest and turns off automatically when it reaches the end of the program.

If you're creating your own recipe, you'll love the Variable Speed Control and Pulse features, which let you fine-tune the texture of any recipe.

Built-In Wireless Connectivity

If you're making a single smoothie and attach the 20 oz container (available separately), the A2500 senses the different container and adjusts the program settings accordingly. In addition, the Ascent series includes Bluetooth, which will soon be able to be used with the Perfect Blend Smart Scale.

Digital Timer

Creating your own recipes is half the fun of owning a Vitamix. The built-in digital timer lets you see exactly how many seconds you've been blending so you can perfect your recipe and have consistent results every time.

Pair with Any Self-Detect Containers

The NFC technology ensures that you can use any of the Self-Detect containers. The blender comes with a 64 oz container. Also available separately are 20 oz Smoothie cups, 8-ounce bowls, 48-ounce container, and a 48-ounce dry grains container. The 20 oz smoothie cups and smaller 8 oz cups are perfect for small batches, like baby food and salad dressing.
