Classic Blonde Steak Knives

A steak knife set for meat lovers.

The Shun Premier Steak Knife Set consists of 4 sharp and stylish 5-inch steak knives. All four knives have a 32-layered high carbon stainless steel blade that is made to last for years. The blades have a hand-hammered, Japanese tsuchime finish that adds a touch of 'premium' to the beauty of these knives. It also prevents food from sticking to the blade without the need for serrations.

These super-thin yet incredibly sharp knives are a perfect addition to any kitchen, whether it be a home or professional environment. They have a beautiful, laminated Pakkawood handle that offers a snug grip thanks to their D-shaped contour.

While all Japanese Shun knives are known for precision, performance and longevity, the knives in this set can cut through 2-inch-thick prime ribs with hardly any effort at all. These surprisingly lightweight knives use their 16-degree blade angle to cut cleanly through the meat, ensuring that one always get beautiful, juicy, and flavourful cuts without having to butcher them with force.

  • Set of 4 razor-sharp steak knives
  • Hammered steel blades and Pakkawood handles
  • Handmade in Japan
  • Comes with a limited lifetime warranty

About Shun

Shun in Japanese actually translates to "at the peak of perfection," and no words could better describe this outstanding company. Renowned for their traditional knife making style and aesthetic design, the highly skilled artisans at the Kai Corporation (the parent company of "Shoon") have been making blades of the highest quality in homage of the legendary sword smiths of Seki, Japan for over 100 years. Each and every knife is handmade, from beginning to end, requiring at least 100 meticulous steps along the way. It is out of this respect and admiration towards their ancestors, coupled with advanced technology and materials, that Shun produces basically pieces of art that also happen to be razor-sharp knives.
