The Saeco Maintenance Kit provides crucial accessories and supplies to keep your super automatic Philips Saeco espresso coffee machine fully operational. Water filters improve water quality and reduce limescale buildup for better tasting espresso and a healthier boiler. Liquid descaler chemical is used to remove limescale buildup, which is the number one cause of premature equipment failure. A brew unit service kit includes items helpful for years down the road.
Each Saeco Maintenance Kit includes:
- TWO Bottles of liquid descaler. Use the descaler when performing your Saeco's automatic descale cycle. This will dissolve any mineral deposits that have formed inside the boiler or water lines and ensure proper temperature and water flow.
- TWO Intenza Water Filters, which are now standard on most new Saeco machines. Use this filter in compatible Saeco super automatics to remove impurities, such as chlorine and calcium carbonate, from your water to improve the taste of your espresso and reduce lime-scale build-up inside the boiler. Except in cases of excessively hard water, the Intenza Water Filter will all but eliminate the need for a descale cycle every 3 to 6 months and extend it to over a year. Replace filter every 2 to 3 months depending on use. (Filter fits all Saeco super automatic espresso machines except Vienna.)
- Brew unit service kit includes two O-ring gaskets, food safe brew unit lubricant, and a cleaning brush. Saeco makes the easy-to-clean brew unit now easy to maintain. Use the service kit to keep pathways clean and moving parts lubricated for extended machine life.
