Messermeister Oliva Elite Stealth Chef's Knife, 8"

The Messermeister Oliva Elite 8 Inch Chef’s Knife is the workhorse of all the knives. You will gravitate towards it when executing 90% of your culinary tasks. It has a highly figured Italian olive wood handle attached to a hand forged Stealth blade and is about 25% thinner and 10% lighter than our traditional chef’s knife. It has been ground down to a thin profile to create a razor sharp edge. With this knife, you can chop, slice, dice and mince your way through extended cutting tasks without fatigue.

• Chef's Knife - The blade, bolster & tang of Oliva Elite knives are one piece, hot-drop hammer forged in Solingen, Germany. They also boast a natural, Mediterranean olive wood handle for a secure, ergonomic grip with unsurpassed balance.
• Blade with a purpose - The smooth, fine 15-degree edge on this chef’s knife can be used to cut, chop, slice & dice all firm and soft fruits, vegetables, meats and fish.
• Thinner & Lighter - The Oliva Elite Stealth 8” Chef’s Knife is about 25% thinner and 10% lighter than our traditional chef’s knife.
• High Quality - Our blades are handcrafted from German 1.4116 steel alloy for knives that are sharp & easy to maintain. Plus, the bosterless heel simplifies cutting, sharpening & honing tasks, making use of the entire blade from heel to tip.
• The blades are heat treated and cooled to achieve a Rockwell of 57-58.
