The Infinity Burr grinder has an extremely wide operating range from Espresso fine to coarse for every kind of coffee preparation along with clearly marked fineness settings, 4 each for extra fine, fine, regular and coarse (a total of 16 settings). Commercial grade stainless steel conical burrs with advanced cutting design ensure high precision grinding. The gear reduction motor grinds slow with reduced noise and minimal static build-up. Slowest grinding speed in its class creates less friction and heat build up preserving maximum aroma and flavor in any grind setting. This same technology is found in the Jura-Capresso Automatic Coffee Centers. Of course, the upper conical burr is removable for easy cleaning. A tight-fitting ground coffee container (holds up to 4 oz. of ground coffee) and see through bean container that holds up to 8.8 oz. of beans are signs that Capresso had practicality and convenience in mind when they designed this beauty. The timer can be set to grind from 5 to 60 seconds, and pulse grinding is possible. Espresso ground on the Capresso Infinity is suitable for stovetop Moka pots, steam espresso makers, and pump espresso machines that use a pressurized (non-commercial) filter basket, such as the Capresso EC100 or the DeLonghi EC702.
