Easily remove the hopper from your grinder with the Baratza Shut-off Hopper Replacement. This ingenious hopper features a shut-off switch that keeps your coffee beans sealed inside the hopper. Simply turn the switch 90 degrees to the closed position and your beans stay in the hopper while you transport it to the next grinder. Multiple Shut-off hoppers can be used to load different kinds of beans into your grinder without emptying and refilling the coffee hopper grinder every time. Compatible with Baratza Forte, Vario, and Preciso grinders. If installing on a Forte or Vario you may also need a new upper burr carrier. We are selling the Shut-off Hopper version 1.2 (part number 1012 compared to the old part number 1011). It has an extended neck for greater durability. Older Forte and Vario grinders feature an upper burr carrier that interferes with the installation of this newer part.
