All-Clad d5 Sauce Pans use a smaller surface area and high sides to keep evaporation at a minimum. Use the matching lid to control evaporation even more. As part of the d5 series, the sauce pans feature a five-layer construction containing layers of aluminum and stainless steel. The core is made of stainless steel and eliminates virtually all hot spots for 20 percent better heat distribution over traditional cookware products. This All-Clad sauce pans have a no-nonsense practicality, but also possess an aesthetic quality with clean lines and a brushed exterior finish. Care

  • Only use low to moderate heat settings, unless boiling because overheating can cause brown or blue stains.
  • Use 1 to 2 teaspoons of oil or butter with these products, but never aerosol because they can damage non-stick coating.
  • Do not use in broiler or oven above 500 degrees.
  • Dishwasher safe, but hand wash recommended after each use.
  • Do not use chlorine bleach based cleansers, or any steel based cleansing pads.
