Recipe: Coddled Eggs in Mini Cocottes

A coddled egg is like a luxurious version of a poached egg. While a poached egg is simply cooked in water, a coddled egg is gently embraced in a small dish, resulting in a richer and more velvety texture. Embrace the indulgence of a coddled egg for a truly exquisite breakfast experience.

Coddled Eggs

Ingredients:Β 
- 1oz of diced or thinly sliced ham
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon of Β grated cheddar cheese.
Directions:
  1. Place the ham into the mini cocotte, covering the bottom
  2. Add the eggs
  3. Cover with 1 tablespoon of cheese
  4. Cover the cocotte and bake for 15 minutes or just until the white is set
